On behalf of the St Helen’s Ladies Association, I would like to thank everyone who came to the lunch on the Holy Cross feast day on Saturday 14th September 2024. Also a thank you to those who donated raffle prizes.
With all your support, we raised £1,648.
With the money raised we were able to pay for the icon decorations and the table cloth that covers the Ayia Trapeza. Father Vissarion ordered these bespoke items from Athens.

Our next project is to make cushions for the four long wooden benches (skamnous) at the front and back of the church as they are very uncomfortable to sit on. The cost will be £1,300.
