Church bookings
The church can be booked for Orthodox religious services such as weddings, christenings and funerals.
What is the capacity of the church?
The church can seat 400 guests.
Can we decorate the church with our own flower arrangements / other decorations?
Absolutely yes. If you don’t have a florist we can recommend one.
Are there any dates when weddings cannot occur in a calendar year?
Yes, these are:
- from 12th December until Christmas;
- during Lent;
- from 1st to 15th August;
- on 5th and 6th January;
- on 29th August (Beheading of St. John the Baptist); and
- on the feast of the Holy Cross (14th September).

Hall bookings
Our hall can be booked for any occasion or gathering. Please make an enquiry to find out more.
How many people can the hall accommodate for a lunch or dinner?
The hall can seat up to 150 people comfortably.
Does the hall have a kitchen that can be used?
Yes. Your caterers can have access to a fully functioning kitchen. We can also provide plates, cups and cutlery. Do pop in to have a look.
Does the church have a car park?
Yes. We have spaces for 20 cars. The car park is sometimes used by other people so do check the availability.
Is there access for people with mobility difficulties?
Yes. There is ramped access but please do enquire if you have any particular needs.
Do you provide cleaning services after the use of the hall?
We ask you to leave the hall and any other rooms used in a clean and tidy state. We can provide cleaning services but this will be at a fee which is normally in addition to the hire costs.
Does the hall have its own furniture, for example tables and chairs for a function?
Yes. The hall does have its own tables and chairs.
Are there toilets?
Yes. There are ground floor toilets (for Men, for Women and for people with mobility difficulties).
Do you have a stage?
Yes. We have a good stage which can be used for theatrical performances and for speeches at large events.
